Day 305.
Unfortunately we have seen another terrorist attack in London. A home-made bomb exploded on a subway train in that city leaving about 22 people injured. The bomb apparently didn’t explode properly but it did cause a fire and most of the injuries are burns. So far, no one has died in this latest attack.
The investigation is ongoing. The police have started scanning CCTV camera footage to see if they can identify the suspect. One report said they did identify a suspect, but it did not say the knew who it was.
But, that didn’t stop our raving lunatic from his tweeting keyboard. He immediately tweeted:
Another attack in London by a loser terrorist. These are sick and demented people who were in the sights of Scotland Yard. Must be proactive!
Of course that wasn’t enough. He further tweeted:
We have made more progress against ISIS in nine months than Obama administration made in 8 years. Must be proactive & nasty!
I am not going to get into the many lies about the last statement except to say that all of the actions against ISIS on the ground that has resulted in progress was all started under the Obama administration. Progress has been made because beloved leader hasn’t changed the plan since Obama approved it.
Then there is this little tidbit about his tweets. Both the Prime Minister of Great Britain, Theresa May and the Mayor of London refuted his claim that the terrorist in this incident “was in the sites of Scotland Yard”.
The police don’t even know yet who conducted the attack or why. As a result, the comment about being in “the sites of Scotland Yard” is a blatant lie.
Instead of offering intelligence help to find out who did this attack, our raving lunatic is using it to push his anti-Muslim agenda. He is automatically saying it was an ISIS attack when he doesn’t know who did it.
I will bet right now that ISIS takes responsibility for it, but then they take responsibility for every terrorist attack regardless of who did it. And, it may be that ISIS or an ISIS sympathiser committed the attack. But, to make such an accusation without proof is irresponsible at best.
Of course that wasn’t enough. He later said that this attack gives him more proof that we need “tougher” travel bans and refugee restrictions. And he wasn’t talking about “tougher” restrictions on white people. So, regardless of who committed this horrible act, trump is going to make sure that the Muslims are punished for it.
Of course in the meantime, he is still giving cover to the white supremacists whom he seems to love beyond belief. Even though he signed that bill from Congress “condemning” hate groups like the white supremacists, he is still clinging to that “both sides are guilty” mantra.
According to FBI and police records, since the last Terrorist Attack in this country committed by a Muslim, there have been over 60 attacks by white supremacists, including the terrorist attack in Charlottesville that resulted in one death.
We hear very little from our beloved leader about these hate attacks by whites on minorities. As a matter of fact, unless it is committed during a highly publicized event like Charlottesville, you won’t hear beloved leader utter one thing about them.
But, that is really what nativism is all about. When you hear trump or any of his supporters talk about nativism or nationalism, they are really talking about white nativism or white nationalism. They do not include African-Americans, Latinos, Muslims, Jews or any other group that is not white Christian.
The real aim of these hate groups, and our beloved leader if you really listen to him, is a “white homeland” in America. No one else need apply. But, it won’t stop there either. Catholics are also in the crosshairs of these hate groups.
All you need to do is listen to Bannon when he said that the Catholic Church favors the “DACA and laxer immigration because they are just trying to fill their pews to raise more money”.
The biggest terrorism threat to America is from white supremacist groups, not Muslim groups. The evidence in in plain sight if you care to open your eyes.
Unfortunately, the world has seen another senseless terrorist attack. Unfortunately, we are reminded that there are evil people in all walks of life that threaten our security and our safety.
Also, unfortunately, we have been shown that our raving lunatic is more interested in throwing around insults than in actually doing something. He is more interested in pointing out one group of terrorists and ignoring the biggest threat in his own country.
Unfortunately, and to the detriment of us all, our raving lunatic has no decency. I bet he can’t even spell it.
And, the shirts keep marching along.
